Standards, The Worlds or God's?

Ezekiel 11:12

“For you have refused to obey me; instead, you have copied the sins of the nations around you.”

Just something about the book of Ezekiel:
If you were to read the book of Ezekiel, (which I would recommend) you would see that the main message is, God allowed the nation of Judah to be destroyed because of the people's sins, but there was still hope-- God promised to restore the land to those who remained faithful to Him.

Let us now reflect on today's verse....

From the time they entered the Promised Land, the Israelites were warned not to copy the customs and religious practices of other nations. God wanted them to be firm in their faith and to be a wittiness for Him. Disobeying this command and following heathen customs instead of God's laws always got them into trouble.
Read about the Israelites and their relationship with God, I think you will agree with me that in our relationship with God, we act the same way.
Today, believers are still tempted to copy the ways of the world. However we must get our Standards of right and wrong from God, not from the popular trends of society.
Our life should reflect Christ in all we do, say and think.
Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you'd think. Then you will know what God wants you to do, and you will know how good and pleasing and perfect His will really is. Romans 12:2

May God's Grace be with you, and may you always rejoice in Him and Him alone.
