Miracles

I wish God would do more ‘’miracle’’ type of things in my life. Why don’t amazing things happen more often?........

Miracles and ‘’amazing things’’ are great, but the best miracle God could ever perform is the miracle of salvation. The fact that God actually chooses to forgive our sins and live inside us is an incredible miracle in itself. We should thank Him for that every day. However this is one miracle we forget.

The question we should ask is, what kind of miracles do you want God to do in your life? If you want to see Him do miracles in your life and in the lives of those around you, stand back. That is the kind He specializes in.

You will find that the most exciting miracles are when God uses you to lead someone else to Him. Those miracles are better; they lead to something eternal.

The longer you follow Christ, the more you will see these types of miracles. When someone’s eternal destiny is changed, and God used you to make it happen, you will experience a ‘’Spiritual high’’ like you have never known.  Also some of these miracles will not be known until you arrive to heaven.

People your life has touched from a prayer you prayed, a Sunday school class you taught, your example of Christ in your life….in so many different ways. They will come to you and say, ‘’Thank You’’.

So ask God to use you to perform the greatest miracle of all ----to lead someone to Christ.

1.      “… God our Savior, who desires ALL MEN to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.” (1 Timothy 2:4)
 

2.     “The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. (2 Peter 3:9)
 

3.     “For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. For WHOEVER calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:12)
