DON'T GET CAUGHT OFF-GUARD!!

Hello my faithful readers, this week I have been grieving over the loss of my Mother. Yes there is sadness in my heart, but greater is the peace and joy I have knowing that she is in heaven! Thanks for your prayers. I want to encourage you this weekend to read the book of Jude. This book is right before Revelation of new testament. There is only one chapter with twenty five verses.

Jude 1:24
And now, all glory to God, who is able to keep you from stumbling and who will bring you into His  glorious presence innocent of sin and with great joy.

Questions for you to ponder......

Is your faith fit for a Spiritual fight? What would you say if the school of agnostic called the resurrection of Christ a myth? Or if a minister that you respect admitted that he believes the Bible contains errors and contradictions? What if your best friend shared with you that, ''It's is insensitive and downright wrong for one group of people to try to force it's views on another group! Right or wrong is a relative concept''? The person you  know as a truly Godly person, full of joy and peace even in rough times, in touch with God. As you talk, this person tells you that she is content and fulfilled because of daily yoga exercises, meditation, and also because of an experience she recently had in which she journeyed back through her previous incarnations. She nods when you mention Jesus Christ and say, ''If  that works for you, great! But I found the truth another way.''

If you have not already had encounters like the ones just described, then just wait. Your time is coming! The fact of the matter is that our world is full of confused people who are eagerly spreading their confusing ideas. Don't get got off - guard! Get your Christian beliefs and behavior ready for the Spiritual Battle that we are in and face everyday, you do this by understanding what you believe and why.

The book of Jude is a good place to read for it speaks of our need to keep strong in our faith and know how to defend what we believe and how to know false teaching. I would like for you to take all weekend reading Jude more then once and to study it well. We must stoutly defend our Christian truth. Making sure that you avoid leaders and teachers who change the Bible or add to it, to suit their own purpose. Genuine servants of God will faithfully portray Christ in their words and conduct.

You will be in my prayers this weekend and any thoughts or questions that you might have, please send me a note by posting a comment.
