Be strong with the Lord's mighty power. Put on all of God's armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies and tricks of the Devil. For we are not fighting against people made of flesh and blood, but against the evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against those mighty powers of darkness who rule this world, and against wicked spirits in the heavenly realms.
Use every piece of God's armor to resist the enemy in the time of evil, so that after the battle you will still be standing firm. Stand your ground, putting on the sturdy belt of truth and the body armor of God's righteousness. For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News, so that you will be fully prepared. In every battle you will need faith as your shield to stop the fiery arrows aimed at you by Satan. Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Pray at all times and on every occasion in the power of the Holy Spirit. Stay alert and be presistent in your prayers for all...
Ephesians 6:10-18 NLT
Wow...If someone is wondering how they are going to face today and or tomorrow, this my friends is the perfect way to face the day and to dress for the day. As you read this passage, notice how we are in a battle, We have arrows aimed right at us!!
How do we avoid getting hit?...
Also take note, that when we pass through a battle, in Christ, we stand firm.
So I would like to challenge you to read this passage before each day, and to go in peace knowing that Christ is with us and He will help us. However don't forget to prepare yourselves. If we don't prepare for the battles that we will face, the harder it is to overcome them. It would be like showing up to play football, and not having a football!!
Like going to the office to do a presentation, and not having the materials to present your project! Or not being prepared for whatever battle you may face each day.
So take this passage from your head and apply it to your heart, and therefore stand firm, knowing you are prepared to face the battle.
I will pray for you and ask that you would pray for me also.
